RULES & REGULATIONS
All Exhibitors must be Members of either ABAG or NBAA.
TYPES OF EXHIBITS AT LABACE 2012
Exhibits at LABACE 2012 are limited to those products or services directly related to the manufacturing, design, operation or servicing of business aircraft. LABACE Management reserves the right to deny space to any company whose products or services are not relevant to business aviation.
PRIORITY FOR SPACE ASSIGNMENT
PRE-PLACED EXHIBITORS are those exhibitors that send us the Application & Contract of LABACE 2012, making full payment on a non-refundable basis, have been pre-placed on the floor plan.
PRIORITY-ONE EXHIBITORS are those companies who exhibited at LABACE 2011, whose Indoor or Chalet Village Exhibit Space is a minimum of 9 booths or 81sqm and whose applications are received on or before February 17, 2012. Space assignments for Priority-One Exhibitors will be determined by lottery drawing.
PRIORITY-TWO EXHIBITORS are those companies who exhibited at LABACE 2011, whose Indoor or Chalet Village Exhibit Space is less than 9 booths or 81sqm, but have exhibited with LABACE on a continuous basis for the past 4 years and/or have committed at least US$10,000 in sponsorships for LABACE 2012 and whose applications are received on or before February 17, 2012. Priority-Two Exhibitors will be placed after Priority-One qualifiers have been assigned space. Space assignments for Priority-Two Exhibitors will be determined by lottery drawing.
PRIORITY-THREE EXHIBITORS are those companies not meeting the requirements established for Priority-One or Priority-Two Exhibitors, and whose applications are received on or before the February 17, 2012, deadline. Priority-Three Exhibitors will be placed once Priority-One and Priority-Two Exhibitors have been assigned, space permitting. Space assignments for Priority-Three Exhibitors will be determined by lottery drawing.
PRIORITY-FOUR EXHIBITORS are those companies whose applications are received after the February 17, 2012, deadline. Priority-Four Exhibitors will be placed once Priority-One, -Two and -Three Exhibitors have been assigned, space permitting. Priority-Four Exhibitors will be placed in the order in which their applications are received. Be assured that LABACE Management will make every effort to accommodate each applicant's preferred location. If, however, all booth choices indicated by the applicant have been allocated, LABACE Management will assign the best available Exhibit Space.

RAW BOOTH SPACE PRICE: Cost of Raw Booth Space is
US$ 3,087 (Blue Zone) / US$ 3,240 (Yellow Zone) / US$ 3,400 (Green Zone) for each 3m by 3m (9.8' by 9.8') Booth Space or 9sqm (96.8sqf). See the floor plan for the booth zone color area. Full payment is due by July 16, 2012. For multilevel booths, add 30% of the regular booth price for the area built on the top floor.
BASIC SHELL-SCHEME BOOTH SPACE PRICE: Cost of Basic Shell-Scheme Booth Space is
US$ 4,775 (Blue Zone) / US$ 4,925 (Yellow Zone) / US$ 5,090 (Green Zone) for each 3m by 3m (9.8´ by 9.8´) Booth Space or 9 sqm (96.9sqf). Full payment is due by July 16, 2012.

US$ 5,600 (Blue Zone) / US$ 5,880 (Yellow Zone) / US$ 6,175 (Green Zone) for each 3m by 3m (9.8´ by 9.8´) Booth Space or 9 sqm (96.9sqf). Full payment is due by July 16, 2012.
The Premium Shell-Scheme Booth package includes the following for each 3m by 3m (9.8´ by 9.8´) Booth Space reserved:

DISCOUNT: LABACE offers a special discount to companies making full payment - on a non-refundable basis - on or before February 17, 2012. The prepayment discount is US$ 55 for each 3m by 3m (9.8' by 9.8') Booth Space booked. Exhibitors making payments after February 17, 2012 ARE NOT eligible for this discount.
NON-MEMBERS DUES: Add US$ 400 if your company is not member of NBAA or ABAG.
AIRPORT TAX: Add 4,5% of the total amount of LABACE 2012 contract for Airport Tax before the grand total due LABACE.
IMPORTANT: All payments should be made by July 16, 2012. Companies that have any outstanding balance on their payment for the exposition area or for required fees cannot set up their stands until the amounts are settled.
Consult the additional fees to see which ones apply to your company. All installation material will be ceded to the Exhibitor as rental, and should be returned in the same condition in which it was received. Damage caused to the material will be billed to the Exhibitor.
STATIC DISPLAY / CHALET VILLAGE PRICES
The Static Display of Aircraft will be held on the ramp of an Airport in São Paulo. The LABACE Chalet Village will be placed along the perimeter of the Static Display in Space designated by LABACE.
STATIC DISPLAY (RAW RAMP SPACE) PRICE: Cost of Static Display Space Raw Ramp Space is US$ 282 for each 3m by 3m (9.8' by 9.8') Static Display Space or 9sqm (96.9sqf).
CHALET VILLAGE PRICE: Cost of Chalet Village Space is US$ 3,087 for each 3m by 3m (9.8' by 9.8') Space. The Chalet Village is reserved solely for Exhibitors with aircraft(s) on the Static Display.
If full payment is not received by the July 16, 2012 deadline, LABACE Management will assume the Exhibitor has canceled their Static Display Space. For multilevel booths, add 30% of the regular Chalet Village price for the area built on the top floor.

CANCELLATION POLICY
LABACE Management has a firm policy of no refunds for cancellations at any time. Exhibitors must strictly follow policies for payment in order to retain Exhibit Space. Reductions in Exhibit Space at LABACE will be considered cancellations.
Note: If either Indoor Booth Space or Static Display Space is not occupied by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, LABACE Management will consider it canceled by the Exhibitor, and
LABACE Management will use such space as it deems appropriate. This rule must be strictly enforced, as lateness in setting up causes difficulties with overnight cleaning crews and jeopardizes the opening of the Exhibits.
LABACE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO: Change the Floor Plan (including, but not limited to aisle Space), without notice, in order to comply with fire, safety, technical and accessibility regulations or to provide, in its exclusive judgment, a safer, more satisfactory, attractive and successful Convention.

INDOOR EXHIBIT CONFIGURATIONS
STANDARD RAW BOOTH, PERIMETER WALL BOOTH, ISLAND BOOTH, PERIMETER ISLAND BOOTH AND FRONT ROW BOOTHS:
The Standard Raw Booth provided by LABACE Management measures
3m by 3m (9.8' by 9.8'). A Standard Raw Booth is one or more 3m by 3m (9.8' by 9.8') standard units
in a straight line with Booths on either side and behind its back wall.
A Perimeter Wall Booth is a Standard Booth located on the outer-perimeter wall of the Exhibit Floor.
An Island Booth is an Exhibit having aisles on all four sides and requiring one or more display levels.
Island Booths requiring hanging signs, materials or components (not including lighting trusses) are permitted around the perimeter of the Hall only.
A Perimeter Island Booth is an Exhibit containing perimeter wall structures that has one or more display levels, is unfinished on any side and/or requires hanging signs, materials or components (not including lighting trusses).
Front Row Booth – only allowed 2 parallel booths to the exhibit hall entrance if the Exhibitor buys
4 or more booths.
Exhibitors occupying Standard Raw Booths, Perimeter Wall Booth, Island Booth, Perimeter Island Booth and Front Row Booth must adhere to the following regulations below.
Exhibit materials, components and identification signs will be permitted to a height of:

4m (13.1') Objects, materials above 3.3m (10.8') must be 1m (3.3') from neighboring Exhibits.

Important: All floor plans must be received at least 60 days prior (June 12, 2012) to the first scheduled move-in date. Kindly remember that if the Exhibit floor plan is not submitted by this time, LABACE Management will not allow Booth construction to take place and consider it canceled by the Exhibitor and will assume the right to use such space as it deems appropriate.
Although LABACE Management provides aisle carpet, Exhibitors are responsible for carpeting their own Booth Space. Exhibitors also are responsible for providing white fascia board dividing side and back walls.
MULTILEVEL AND COVERED BOOTHS
For multilevel booths, add 30% of the regular booth/chalet price for the area built on the top floor.
LABACE must approve all Multilevel and Covered Booths. Booth plans should indicate the name of the event and Booth number, specify maximum number of occupants allowed and have a structural engineer's stamp certifying that the platforms can bear the maximum occupant load.
Certain Multilevel and Covered Booths may require fire watches, smoke detection devices,
fire extinguishers, multiple exits, etc.,
as required by Fire Prevention Officials.
For tents, awnings and canopies, drawings should include detailed plans showing size, height, location, anchoring areas and certification that the material is flame retardant. Further information on fire
and safety regulations will be provided in the Exhibitor Service Kit and the Schedule for distribution
will be informed by LABACE Management. The deadline to submit Multilevel and Covered Booth diagrams to LABACE Management is June 12, 2012.
All Exhibitors with a Multilevel and Covered Booth must submit one copy of a scaled Floor Plan (with front and side elevations) to:

STATIC DISPLAY CHALET VILLAGE
Exhibitors should not plan for a Chalet that cannot be constructed and dismantled in the apportioned time set forth by LABACE Management.

INSTALLING AND DISMANTLING EXHIBITS
To ensure orderly and efficient installation, operation and removal of Exhibits and to eliminate confusion, LABACE Management will designate firms (listed in the Exhibitor Service Kit and the Schedule
for distribution will be informed by LABACE Management) as Official service contractors. LABACE Management holds these firms responsible for quality service and fair prices and will intercede on behalf of an Exhibitor in the event of faulty work or unfair charges. LABACE Management encourages all Exhibitors to place orders with these firms unless a permanent arrangement has been established with display house or outside contractor to set up and dismantle Exhibits.
EXHIBIT HALL MOVE-IN SCHEDULE: Move-in for Indoor Exhibitors begins on Friday, August 10, 2012, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, on a targeted basis.
Move-in continues until Wednesday, August 15, 2012, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
STATIC DISPLAY MOVE-IN SCHEDULE: Move-in for Static Display Aircraft begins on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 8:00 AM. The movement of aircraft will obey the order of arrival in accordance with the position of each Exhibitor's Chalet and will be organized by LABACE Management, which will coordinate with the Exhibitors. The schedule informed by LABACE Management - (Static display participation term - Aircraft positioning) cannot be changed by request of exhibitors. If the aircraft
is not in the static display at the schedule time informed, the following aircraft will be positioned;
there is no possibility to move in the aircraft later.
DEMONSTRATION AND PRESENTATION FLIGHTS: Aircraft displayed on the Static Display are prohibited from conducting demonstration or presentation flights.
CHALET VILLAGE MOVE-IN SCHEDULE: Move-in for the Chalet Village will be determined at a later date and distributed to applicable Exhibitors.
Note: All Exhibits must be set and in place by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, so that aisle carpeting in the Exhibit Hall and necessary equipment on the Static Display can be installed. Kindly remember that if the Exhibit Space is not occupied by this time, LABACE Management will consider it canceled by the Exhibitor and will assume the right to use such space as it deems appropriate.
MOVE-OUT SCHEDULE: Move-out for Exhibit Hall and Static Display Exhibitors on the Airport will begin at 4:30 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2012. All items must be removed from the Airport by 12:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2012. All aircraft must either depart or be returned to a host FBO by 11:00 PM on Sunday, August 19, 2012.

The Chalet Village move out schedule will be determined at a later date and distributed to applicable Exhibitors. Booths and Static Display areas must be fully staffed during official Exhibit hours. Exhibitors will be admitted at 9:00 AM each Exhibit day for early preparation of displays only. No activities except Booth preparations are to be scheduled in the Exhibit areas at any time other than official Exhibit hours. LABACE Management reserves the right to make changes to the above schedule.
Note: Exhibits in either the Exhibit Hall or on the Static Display must not be dismantled before
4:30 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2012 (this includes movement of Display aircraft). Exhibitors found
in violation of this rule will be ineligible for the indoor and outdoor Priority-One or Priority-Two Lotteries in 2012. LABACE Management reserves the right to ship (freight collect) packages, cartons, crates, etc., left in the Exhibit Hall or Static Display beyond the days and times of dismantling at the expense of the exhibitor, unless special contract arrangements are entered into by the Exhibitor and LABACE Management.
STATIC DISPLAY
Move-in for Static Display Aircraft begins on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 8:00 AM. The movement of aircraft will obey the order of arrival in accordance with the position of each Exhibitor's Chalet and will be organized by LABACE Management, which will coordinate with the Exhibitors. The schedule informed by LABACE Management - (Static display participation term - Aircraft positioning) cannot be changed by request of exhibitors. If the aircraft is not in the static display at the schedule time informed, the following aircraft will be positioned; there is no possibility to move in the aircraft later. For safety reasons, LABACE Management reserves the right to deny placement of aircraft not arriving by the stated deadline. However, LABACE Management requires sufficient time to coordinate Static Display aircraft with the Airport. Static Display Exhibits must not be dismantled before 4:30 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2012, and aircraft movements should not begin until this time. Exhibitors in violation of this rule will jeopardize placement in future LABACE Shows.
Aircraft information must be filled out online (wing number, ETA, etc.) by July 16, 2012, those aircrafts that do not supply the proper information by July 12, will be charged a rate of R$ 500 per aircraft and run the risk of losing participation at LABACE 2012.
Running aircraft auxiliary power units (APUs) in the Static Display area during Show days (August 16, 17 and 18, 2012) is not permitted for any reason. No support vehicles of any kind may access the Static Display area during Show days.
Chalet Village set-up times will be distributed to Exhibitors at a later date and must be strictly
adhered to. Chalets must be constructed and disassembled within the timeframe outlined by
LABACE Management.
All Exhibiting Companies must submit to-scale diagrams of their proposed Display to LABACE for approval. Layouts should be sending to:

Approved layouts will be returned by e-mail to Exhibitors. Please do not plan for a Display that is not approved. Other regulations will be identified by the Airport management and LABACE. Exhibitors will be notified of these through the Exhibitor Service Kit, e-mail communications and in person, on-site as the situation warrants.
EXHIBITS CONTAINED WITHIN PURCHASED SPACE
All display material and demonstrations must be confined to the limits of the Exhibitor's purchased display space both indoors and on the Static Display of Aircraft at the Airport. Therefore, please plan the size of Exhibits and Static Displays appropriately. If many people are expected to congregate at one time, demonstration areas should not be placed on the aisle line of the Exhibit. Normal aisle traffic cannot be interfered with at any time. Exhibits should be installed so that they do not project beyond the allotted space.
NOISE LEVELS
LABACE Management reserves the right to restrict Exhibits that, because of noise, method of operation or any other reason, become objectionable.
SUBLETTING OR SHARING EXHIBIT SPACE
No Exhibitor will assign, sublet or share the whole or any part of Exhibit Space purchased without the knowledge and consent of LABACE Management. Failure to advise LABACE Management in advance of shared Exhibit Space (including displaying the advertising of another Company's products or services) may result in an additional minimum Exhibiting charge of US$ 3,087 per Company, per Booth or
US$ 282 per Static Display Space. Advertising material of any description may be displayed and distributed only within the Display Space(s) assigned to the Exhibitor presenting such material.
No Exhibitor is to distribute materials outside of their assigned Exhibit Space without written approval from LABACE Management.
DIRECT SELLING
Direct selling on the Exhibit Floor and at the Static Display of Aircraft is prohibited. Canvassing by Exhibitors outside their assigned Booth Space and/or Static Display Space is prohibited. Canvassing and solicitation, except by Exhibiting Firms, are prohibited within 80km (50miles) of the Exhibit Hall or Static Display of Aircraft at the Airport.
DISPLAY APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
No part of an Exhibit, or signs relating thereto, may be taped, nailed, tacked, stapled, pasted or otherwise fastened to ceilings, walls, doors, windows, painted surfaces, columns, marble or fabric in any way; no holes may be drilled, cored or punched in walls, floors, tarmac or ramp. No application of paint on signs, displays or other objects is permitted. The use of adhesive-backed decals or similar items is prohibited. Damages resulting from the failure to observe these rules will be billed to the Exhibitor. Exposed parts of displays (including backs) must be completely finished so that they are not objectionable to other Exhibitors, Delegates or LABACE Management.
HANGING SIGNS, MATERIALS, COMPONENTS, ETC.
In the interest of safety, with the exception of Perimeter Booths, Exhibitors' signs or other materials may not be attached to the ceiling or overhead beams of the Exhibit Hall in any manner. Spotlights can be attached to the ceiling if they are focused on the Display and do not interfere with other Exhibits. Exhibitors requiring signs hung over Perimeter Booths or spotlight rigging must submit requests to LABACE Management for approval. All trusses and hanging signs must be assembled and hung by the official rigging contractor. Helium balloons and animals (including pets) are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall or the Static Display of Aircraft at the Airport.
VIOLATIONS
By signing the LABACE Application/Contract for Exhibit and/or Static Display Space, the Exhibitor agrees to abide by these Rules & Regulations as interpreted by LABACE Management. In fairness to all participants, Exhibitors found in violation of LABACE Rules & Regulations in the Exhibit Hall or at the Static Display will be required to make necessary changes on site at the Exhibitor's expense. If satisfactory changes cannot be made, LABACE Management reserves the right to terminate any and all rights to the Exhibit Space, and the Exhibitor will forfeit all fees paid. Violating Exhibitors will be ineligible for the indoor Priority-One or Priority-Two Lotteries in 2013 and/or will jeopardize placement at the Static Display of Aircraft.
LIABILITY
The Exhibitor is solely responsible for the safeguarding of materials, equipment and displays at all times. LABACE Management employs general security when the Exhibit Hall and Static Display are closed. However, LABACE Management, the Airport and Infraero are not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, injury, or destruction of Exhibitor's property or the property of its agents or employees, by or from any cause whatsoever. The Exhibitor expressly releases LABACE Management, the Airport and Infraero and their respective officers, employees, members and agents, from any and all claims for such loss, theft, damage, injury or destruction, or for loss of good will (whether or not in relation to any property).
Exhibitors must comply at all times with the Rules & Regulations of LABACE, the Airport and Infraero. These Rules & Regulations are subject to change prior to the time the Exhibition is held. Failure to follow LABACE, the Airport and Infraero Rules & Regulations will constitute a breach of contract.
In addition, by signing the LABACE 2012 Exhibit and/or Static Display of Aircraft Application/Contract, Exhibitors agree to comply with LABACE Management's interpretation of its Rules & Regulations. Complete Rules & Regulations for both the Exhibit Hall and Static Display of Aircraft at the Airport will be included in the Exhibitor Service Kit.
INSURANCE
It is suggested that Exhibitors obtain insurance covering losses such as theft and damage to property.
The Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless LABACE Management, the Airport and Infraero and their respective officers, employees, members and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, injuries and damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fines and attorney's fees arising out of or caused by Exhibitor's installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the Exhibition premises, or any part thereof, or arising out of or caused by Exhibitor's participation in Exhibition activities.
SECURITY
When the LABACE Exhibition and Static Display of Aircraft are open, there will be some perimeter security staffing. Notwithstanding the foregoing, LABACE, the Airport and Infraero will not be liable for loss or damage to Exhibitor's property, as further provided under the section entitled "Liability." PUBLICATIONS BINS
As a service to Exhibitors and Publishers of trade publications, LABACE offers an area of Bins where publications may be displayed. Publications Bins will be available for periodicals only. Advertising material, including promotional brochures and pamphlets, are not permitted and will be discarded by LABACE Management with no refunds. LABACE provides an attendant to receive shipments, stock and maintain the Publications Bins. Exhibitors wishing to display a publication will be provided one free Bin per Exhibit Space reserved. Exhibitors and Publishers may purchase additional Bins at a cost of
US$ 735 per Bin. All Companies must submit samples of their publications for review before Bins are reserved. The Publications Bins order form is will be provided in the Exhibitor Service Kit and the Schedule for distribution will be informed by LABACE Management.

CLEANING
LABACE Management will arrange to clean aisles during closed hours prior to opening each Show day, but this service does not include dusting, arranging or otherwise maintaining Exhibits. Exhibitors must keep their Displays neatly organized. Order forms for more detailed cleaning information will be provided in the Exhibitor Service Kit.
CARPETING
LABACE Management provides aisle carpeting. Exhibitors who purchased Raw Booth Space are responsible for carpeting their own area. Premium Shell-Scheme and Basic Shell-Scheme packages include carpeting. Exhibitors must have LABACE Management approval when using their own carpeting in aisles between displays and will be charged based on the equivalent amount of Exhibit Space.
DRESS
Due to the professional nature of the business aviation industry, dress for LABACE 2012
is business attire.
ELECTRIC
Electric current may be utilized for the operation of apparatus that does not produce noises of an annoying nature.
SMOKING
Smoking is permitted at LABACE only in the designated areas.
FIRE REGULATIONS AT THE AIRPORT
All exits and exit aisles must be kept clear and unobstructed. No furniture, signs, easels, chairs or displays may protrude into aisles. Fire hose cabinets, fire extinguishers, sprinklers, or any other fire-safety device must not be hidden, obstructed or otherwise disturbed. All materials used in Exhibit construction, decoration or as temporary cover must be certified as flame retardant. Inflammable fluids, substances, or materials of any nature may not be used. All materials and installations must comply with the requirements of LABACE.
SHIPPING / STORAGE
More detailed shipping information will be furnished in the Exhibitor Service Kit and the schedule for distribution will be informed by LABACE Management.
SPECIAL CONNECTIONS
Water, drainage, electrical services and internet services are available solely through the Official Service Contractor. Order forms for the above services, other Booth items and labor will be included in the Exhibitor Service Kit.
